About Us:
Welcome to Amuure Holistic Healing! We are a mobile and fixed-based therapy business operating in Minneapolis, Minnesota, providing specialized therapeutic and holistic treatment for a wide range of clients. As well as providing traditional therapy and massage – including Swedish massage, deep tissue and sports massage – we also provide therapy for clients who are recovering from injury or require specialized treatment, including myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, myoskeletal alignment techniques (MAT), medial massage, oncology massage and pre-natal massage.
We are a young and growing, woman-owned organization with big goals. Having just moved into new premises in Bloomington, MN, we are now looking to expand our fun, friendly and professional team.
About the role:
We are on the hunt for two experienced massage therapists to join our growing team of therapists within the Minneapolis area.
Key duties and responsibilities:
To provide body care and massage therapy services through a variety of modalities
To have a good understanding and knowledge of both Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage. Knowledge and understanding of additional modalities is a plus
To perform deep tissue / injury and rehabilitation massage
To consistently perform high quality, consecutive 60, 75 and 90-minute massage therapy sessions
To ensure exceptional customer care and customer service, providing a holistic but individually tailored service to a wide range of clients
To monitor patient response to massage therapy, communicate clearly with the client and understand their needs before adjusting the level of treatment accordingly
To document patient information, interview responses, treatment, feedback and results
To promote the health and wellness benefits of massage to clients, as well as additional services and goods provided by Amuure Holistic Healing
To maintain a high level professionalism at all times
To assist in ensuring cleanliness of therapy room and common areas
To be polite, friendly and courteous at all times
To be willing to travel, and work with-in external spaces on a regular basis (ie. client homes, or offices)
To be an excellent time-keeper
Key requirements
License/Certification or proof of application submission required
Must adhere to local and state licensing/certification laws and regulations
Must carry liability insurance
Hours:
We are looking for two therapists to work the following shift patterns:
Saturday – Monday, Wednesdays; 9am – 3pm
Saturday – Monday, Wednesdays; 4pm – 9pm
In return:
$27-30 per hour, plus gratuities
All necessary massage equipment will be provided
A fun and friendly working environment
